Today environmentalists cleaned up the coastal territory of the Melekeska River and the Onur spring in Naberezhnye Chelny and Almetyevsk district.
Inspectors of the Kama Department, together with employees of the Executive Committee and Rosprirodnadzor, took part in a citywide clean-up in Naberezhnye Chelny. The embankment of the Melekeska River was cleared by joint efforts. In total, the activists collected 150 bags of garbage.
In the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the Southeastern Department also held a clean-up day at the Onur spring. They cleared the area of branches and household waste. During the hour of work, 11 bags of garbage were collected.
"A clean-up day for our management is a good tradition that unites the team, which also gives another reason to do a useful thing, to show your concern for nature. Every spring and autumn we go to the springs and put things in order, because they also need cleanliness," said Alina Zalaltdinova, inspector of the Southeastern Department.
