The game, held under the auspices of the national brand "Made in Russia" at the Fetisov Arena, became a highlight of the Eastern Economic Forum and brought together legendary hockey players and leading business representatives on the ice. The hockey match continued a series of unique events that The Russian Export Center conducts to promote domestic products under the brand "Made in Russia". Earlier in 2024, the REC held two festivals-fairs of goods "Made in Russia" in China, as well as a basketball match and a regatta under the banner of the national brand. The purpose of such events is to provide businesses with an additional opportunity to increase awareness of their products and solutions both among potential business partners and among end consumers abroad. More than 150 companies have already joined the campaigns under the auspices of the national brand "Made in Russia".
"The Made in Russia match symbolizes that Russia knows how to win and create strong brands. Hockey has become one of the most recognizable symbols of our country, the embodiment of our spirit, high quality, strength and indestructible desire to win. It is these meanings that we strive to promote under the brand "Made in Russia" so that people abroad who see products under our brand understand that these are products created with the same care, with the same professionalism as our hockey players play on ice," said Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the REC.
For the first time, teams bringing together world sports stars, business representatives and government agencies from Russia and other countries took to the ice in support of the national brand "Made in Russia". Among the players are famous hockey players Valery Kamensky, Ilya Kovalchuk, Sergey Bobrovsky, Danis Zaripov, Vitaly Prokhorov, Vyacheslav Butsaev, Sergey Mozyakin and Sergey Konkov.
It should be noted that an autograph session with hockey legends was organized for the guests of the match.
Before the "Made in Russia" gala match, the audience was also able to evaluate domestically produced goods: food, cosmetics and unique solutions for ecology and sustainable development. In total, 19 companies from 11 regions of the country presented their products.
The Made in Russia match not only united more than 6,000 hockey fans among Russian and foreign guests of the WEF, but also once again demonstrated that Russian sports and domestic products confidently occupy leading positions in the international arena.
The partner of the match was the engineering company TAZMAR MARITIME, which specializes in hydrographic surveys of marine and river waters. TAZMAR MARITIME is implementing the national project "General Cleaning" for the recovery and disposal of sunken ships in the Far East.
