Оf JSC "TAIF-NK" (Nizhnekamsk), within the framework of the signed Agreement on cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, installed small-sized control stations in the village of Stroiteley and the settlement of Prosti of the Nizhnekamsk district. The priority of choosing locations was the incoming requests from residents of settlements on the quality of atmospheric air, as well as the results of an analysis using the Ministry's consolidated database on the emission parameters of sources of enterprises and vehicles in Nizhnekamsk.

The new monitoring stations will allow one to monitor the air condition according to 9 indicators: carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene, phenol, ethylbenzene. In case of detection of excess, prompt preventive measures will be taken.

Let us recall that the Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and TAIF-NK JSC was signed within the framework of the final board earlier this year. The document provides for the mutual exchange of data on atmospheric air pollution from automatic monitoring stations.
