Environmental safety in the oil-producing regions of Tatarstan was discussed at the conference named after Shchepovskikh

Within the framework of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A. I. Shchepovskikh "Industrial ecology and safety" a round table on the topic: "Ensuring environmental and industrial safety in the implementation of urban development activities in the oil-producing regions of the Republic of Tatarstan" was held.

Representatives of the Spatial Data Foundation of the Republic of Tatarstan Tatyana Kopoteva and Leysan Fakhrislamova, Tatneft Natalia Grechishnikova and Ilmira Shaidullina and Geomonitoring Artem Lukin took part in it.

The round table touched upon the issues of the construction of oil wells, their impact on the environment and the planning of the location of oil facilities. At the end of the meeting, Ilmira Shaidullina gave recommendations on oily waste classification from secondary resources and the selection of methods for their disposal.

The speakers were awarded Shchepovskikh diplomas and medals for the best reports.  Kamil Abdullin, Natalia Grechishnikova and Ilmira Shaidullina were awarded. A diploma for participation was also awarded to Artyom Lukin.
