"Further development of oil refining and petrochemistry is our strategic task!" This was stated today by Rustam Minnikhanov at the plenary session of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum
The main topic of the plenary session is "Modern challenges and ways to solve priority tasks for the reproduction of the mineral resource base of hydrocarbons."
Speaking with a welcoming speech, Rustam Minnikhanov said that today the technological solutions that are available and used, as well as the quality of the resource base, are very important for the region.
"I am sincerely grateful to all our partners who take part in the forum and are in this room," he said. "Despite the fact that oil has been produced on the territory of Tatarstan for many years, new technological solutions and developments allow us to ensure production."
Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that the annual level of hydrocarbon production in the republic is about 35 million tons.
"Today, the republic processes more than 23 million tons of oil," he stressed. - We have two oil refining complexes with high processing efficiency for this purpose. And in general, the further development of oil refining and petrochemistry is our strategic task."
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that such a topic of discussion as priority tasks for the reproduction of the mineral resource base of hydrocarbons is very important and relevant for Tatarstan. He wished all participants of the forum successful work. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov took part in the plenary session.
