The green Flamingo is on its way again. In support of the national project "Ecology", the scientific research vessel of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan went on an expedition along the Volga
Today, a scientific expedition of a team of ecologists and scientists started from the Kazan pier "Lesnaya Gavan" to conduct hydrochemical and hydrophysical observations of the state of the surface waters of the Volga. The expedition route, which was developed and prepared by scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, is designed for three days and during this time environmentalists will pass: - the mouth of the river Kazanka – Kzyl Bayrak settlement – Kamskoye Estuary small town/Kuibyshevsky Zaton small town – Tetyushi – Kamskoye Estuary small town – Kazan (pier "Lesnaya Gavan")
The goals and objectives of the expedition:
– conducting sampling and analysis of samples of the aquatic environment in areas subject to the greatest anthropogenic load;
– route inspection of a water body with photo and video documentation of the state of the water area and the shores of the water body;
– monitoring compliance with the regime of water protection zones and coastal protection strip with photo and video recording;
– conducting an analysis of BTP releases;
– analysis of information obtained as a result of the expedition.
The research vessel will also carry out the tasks set within the framework of the national Ecology project.
