Registration of participants of the All-Russian Conference on Environmental Education-2024 has begun
The All-Russian Conference on Environmental Education will be held from November 1 to 2, 2024 in Tomsk. The conference is held in a face-to-face format with the possibility of online connection.
The event is being implemented within the framework of the national projects "Ecology" and "Education" in order to improve the system of continuous environmental education and the formation of an ecological culture of the population.
The traditional theme of the Conference "Continuing Environmental Education: problems, experience, prospects" provides an opportunity to discuss current challenges, share successful practices and consider prospects for further development in the environmental direction.
Representatives of executive and legislative authorities, specialists of educational management bodies, senior and teaching staff of educational organizations, heads of methodological associations, employees of cultural institutions, representatives of public and environmental organizations, employees of environmental education departments of specially protected natural territories, journalists, eco-bloggers, specialists of industrial enterprises responsible for environmental protection can participate in the Conference.
The program includes a plenary session, expert discussions on sections, open workshops on key areas of environmental education and enlightenment, and a cultural program for nonresident participants of the conference.
The main areas of expert discussions on the sections will be:
− "Environmental activities as a form of environmental education for children and youth";
− "The module of environmental education in the education program of an educational organization";
− "The concept of environmental education in the general education system: from theory to practice";
− "Formation and development of environmental competencies of schoolchildren and students through competitions, Olympiad and championship movement";

− "Topical issues of industrial ecology: anthropogenic climate change".

Registration dates: from August 1 to October 15 - to speak at the section in person / online; from August 1 to October 30 - to participate as a listener in person / online.
The Conference program will be published on the website from October 28, 2024. Following the results of the Conference, it is planned to publish an electronic collection of materials.
