Let us recall that in June, inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology recorded a violation of the Water Code of the Russian Federation on the Betka River. In the village of Anatysh in the Rybno-Slobodsky district, residents of several houses erected a fence a meter from the water's edge.
Within the framework of the issued order, 2 months were allotted for dismantling the fence. Currently, the violation has been eliminated, and free access to the river has been provided.
According to the legislation, the coastal strip with a width of 20 meters is in common use. Any restriction of free access to water bodies is illegal and entails liability.
