A snow leopard – to be! A snow leopard – to live! We save and preserve together!
The second conference on the conservation of the snow leopard was held in the Maiminsky district of the Altai Republic.
Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov took part in it. The conference was held at the Snow Leopard Biological Diversity Conservation Center, which is being built on the territory of the Karym complex with the support of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main purpose of its creation is to restore the population of the spotted predator. The conference was attended by delegations from Moscow, Tatarstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Altai Republic. Representatives of interested departments and the scientific community.
The best Russian projects on animal conservation are presented at the conference. Snow leopard, tiger, polar bear, Far Eastern leopard, beluga. It should be recalled that the Concept of the Snow Leopard Center provides for a scientific research part and an aviary complex of the animal husbandry, breeding and study sector.
Within the framework of the conference, the organization of joint scientific expeditions, the creation of a sustainable food base, and environmental education were considered. Let us recall that the creation of the Biodiversity Center contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Ecology".
