Applications for the EcoMir 2024 International Prize are accepted
The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences invites you to take part in the competition for the international environmental Prize. EcoMir 2024 is a public award for outstanding achievements in environmental protection and environmental safety, as well as in other environmental activities aimed at sustainable development in the 21st century.
Russian and foreign enterprises and organizations, creative teams, government representatives, public figures and persons who directly initiated and implemented projects, programs and actions aimed at preserving the environment and ensuring environmental safety can act as applicants for the Award. The selection of the participants of the competition is carried out on the basis of submitted applications and documents confirming the implementation of the submitted projects.
The International Environmental Prize "EcoMir-2024" is awarded in 11 nominations:
1. Environmental policy and the environment
2. Ecology, protection of citizens' rights to a favorable environment, preservation of natural, historical and cultural heritage of territories
3. Environmental education, enlightenment and culture
4. Ecological and patriotic activities, restoration of natural and historical heritage, creation of tourist and excursion programs and projects
5. Youth programs, projects in the field of ecology and environmental protection (participants are young people up to and including 35 years old)
6. Resource-saving and environmentally friendly technologies, recycling of production and consumption waste
7. Environmentally friendly goods and food
8. Ecology and human health
9. Conservation of biodiversity and natural landscapes
10. Environmentally friendly technologies and materials in low-rise construction, wooden house construction
11. Landscape and park design, modern architectural solutions and landscape painting
All applicants who have passed the first stage of the Competition ‒ the nominees of the Award are awarded with a Diploma of the International Environmental Award.
