Two residents of the Rybno-Slobodsky district should demolish the fence according to the instructions of environmentalists
Violations of the Russian Water Code were recorded on the Betka River in the village of Anatysh in the Rybno-Slobodsky district. A fence was erected by residents of houses a meter from the water's edge.
Environmentalists explain: according to the legislation, the coastal strip with a width of 20 meters is in common use. Any restriction of free access to water bodies is illegal and entails liability.
Warnings have been issued against individuals against violating mandatory requirements of environmental legislation. According to the instructions of the inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the fences must be dismantled. 60 days have been allocated for the elimination of violations.
