Since the beginning of the sports games, the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan has received several appeals from citizens, all of them have been put to work to verify compliance with environmental legislation. Mobile environmental laboratories are on duty on a regular basis.
Last weekend, state inspectors, together with specialists from the Central Department for Environmental Supervision of the Ministry, conducted studies of atmospheric air samples near the Tatneft Arena, the Palace of Water Sports, the Boxing and Table Tennis Center. No exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants were detected.
