Today, at a meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, the best municipalities were awarded according to the results of the sanitary and environmental two-month period. The awards were presented to the winners by the Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
This year, "Eco-spring" is an eight-week marathon, where each week was devoted to a separate topic. In total, 1,200 applications were submitted to the competition. Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov spoke about Tatarstan citizens, who can rightfully be called heroes in the field of environmental protection. "It's not just a beautiful phrase. I will quote here the words of Vladyka Theophan, who said more than once: "By reviving a small Homeland, we are reviving Great Russia!" So it is!", - said the head of the environmental protection agency.
He cited the example of the students of Menzelinsk school No. 3. The guys held 150 events! We cleaned, planted trees, and helped shelters for homeless animals.
Alexander Shadrikov and schoolchildren from the Muslyumov gymnasium noted. There are only 15 of them, but they managed to organize and carry out 100 environmental campaigns and events – cleaning the shores, planting trees and collecting waste paper. They set a worthy example for everyone! "This year, Tatarstan's "Eco-spring" was also welcomed in the Luhansk region. Parents of the students of the Naberezhnye Chelny school planted Tatarstan birches at the monument to the fallen tankers in Lugansk," the speaker shared the results of the competition. In the Year of the Family, which was announced in Russia by decree of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the awarding of the winners of the Eco-spring competition in the Cabinet of Ministers began with the nomination "Eco-family".
In the nomination "Eco-family", the Machikhin family from the Mendeleevsky district took 3rd place.
The 2nd place is occupied by the Sharifullin family, also from the Mendeleevsky district.
The Hannanov family from the Sarmanovsky district was recognized as the best eco-family.
The best municipalities were also announced in the Cabinet of Ministers today.
The third place in the category of municipal districts with the center – status: urban-type settlement, district center, village was taken by the Apastovsky district.
The second place belongs to the Sabinsky district.
The Vysokogorsky district became the best in the group.
In the category – municipal districts with the city status, the third place is occupied by the Mendeleevsky district.
The second place in the same category was awarded to Almetyevsk district.
The first place goes to the Kukmor district.
In the urban districts group, the second place is occupied by the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.
The city of Kazan became the best in the urban districts category.
At the end of his speech, the Minister of Ecology thanked the media for covering the topic of the bi-monthly and all those who took an active part and provided assistance in organizing and holding the events of the bi-monthly. Ecology unites us, the head of the Ministry of Ecology noted.
The winners in the remaining nominations of the Eco-spring competition will traditionally be announced at the award ceremony, which will be held in mid-June.
