The VIII Forum of Environmental Organizations "ECOwave" has ended in Kazan
From May 12 to 15, the VIII Republican Forum of youth environmental organizations "ECOwave" was held at the Baitik camp. 152 activists from 72 environmental associations of the republic became participants of the forum.
For four days, the participants met with speakers in the field of ecology, held master classes, guided tours, and at the end defended their projects and became grant holders.
Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Olga Manidicheva took part in the closing ceremony of the forum. During the panel session "Ecology Unites", the participants discussed the importance of ecology in the modern world and how the guys themselves can help in environmental protection.
"As a result of the forum, you take home more knowledge, more friends and like-minded people. We are very happy to be a part of such an event. I am sure that each of you will make a choice in favor of ecology in your life, and it does not matter if it is a profession, hobby or interest. Ecology is a state of mind, ecology unites," said Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Forum is organized by the Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
