Inspectors of the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology revealed the fact of unauthorized waste disposal on R. Fahretdin Street in Almetyevsk. The area of the contaminated site was 5,200 sq.m. According to an extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate, the owner of the site is an individual. Environmentalists calculated and presented to the violator the damage caused to the environment in the amount of 3,902,210 rubles.
Since the damage was not voluntarily paid, the Ministry of Ecology filed a claim for damages to the Almetyevsk City Court.
During the trial, it became clear that the owner of the land plot leased the plot to another individual.
At the end of April, the Almetyevsk City Court, by an absentee decision, fully satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Ecology against an individual who rents this land plot. The violator will pay 4 million rubles.
