Do good! The flash mob #GoodnessRelay continues!
Today, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan joined the flash mob #GoodnessRelay. As part of the campaign, trees were planted in the rural recreation park "Lake of Friendship" in the village of Aleshkin-Saplyk, Drozhzhanovsky district.
A total of 310 poplar and maple saplings were planted on the site. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov, Managing Director of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Sarafanov.
"The baton was handed over to us at the end of November by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic, Alexander Valeryevich. He improved the Teacher's spring in his small home town. At that time it was too late to plant trees, so we waited for spring. Friendship Lake is an iconic place, it is the personification of peace and harmony between two peoples – Tatars and Chuvash. We hope that the seedlings will take root and will delight park visitors for many, many years. Specialists will monitor their condition," commented Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov.

Let us recall that the flash mob #GoodnessRelay was launched by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in January 2023. More than 100 people joined the campaign. The participants planted trees, participated in clean-up days, carried out landscaping of springs, posted photos and videos on their page on the VKontakte social network and passed the baton to others.
