411 appeals were received by the Ministry of Ecology for the period from April 15 to April 19.

411 applications were received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception for the period from April 15 to April 19. Unauthorized landfills have become the most pressing issue of concern to the population. 338 messages were received on this topic in a week. So, during an on-site survey of the territory of the Nurlat district, inspectors of the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology found 2 unauthorized landfills of construction waste in the city of Nurlat. The first dump was identified on V.  Medvedsky st. near the container site next to the territory of the Nurlatsky Sugar plant. The total area of the landfill was 45 sq.m. The second dump was found on Gimatdinov Street. The landfill area was 48 sq.m. A warning was sent to the Executive Committee of the Nurlat district about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and a requirement to eliminate the violation within 60 days.  Schoolchildren are actively showing themselves within the framework of the two-month period. Of the 338 complaints about landfills, 248 appeals came from participants of the "School Eco-patrol".

Also last week, 33 complaints were received about the quality of atmospheric air and 28 complaints about water quality.

In total, 1,938 applications have been received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception since the beginning of the year. 768 of them were sent via the School Eco-patrol mobile application, 289 messages came through the People's Control system, 66 were registered on the POS feedback platform and 815 notifications were received through the Ministry's communication channels.
