We celebrate the Day of Environmental Knowledge with a clean-up day with the RGS
On April 15, Environmental Knowledge Day is celebrated all over the world. This holiday is significant not only for specialists in the field of ecology, but also for all people who care about the future of our planet. On this day, many organizations hold promotions, conferences, meetings and games for the youngest conservationists.
In Tatarstan, every third resident can safely celebrate the Day of Environmental Knowledge, because more than a million Tatarstan citizens are active participants in environmental events and clean–up days. There are more than 10 thousand eco-activists in the republic "It will be clean" and 2,000 young people. These caring guys have already become mentors themselves and conduct environmental classes in kindergartens, schools and universities. The Day of Environmental Knowledge traditionally coincides with the competition of the Ministry of Ecology "Eco-spring" and the sanitary and environmental bi-monthly. So if you have not yet decided how to contribute to the environment, feel free to take part in our events. Already on April 20, we invite you to join the clean-up day, which will be held on Lake Komsomolskoye in the village of Derbyshki. It starts at 10:00 a.m. Let's put things in order together with the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society. We are waiting for everyone!
