The week of environmental knowledge has begun in Russia
April 15 is the International Day of Environmental Knowledge. On this day, various lectures, seminars, and master classes on environmental issues are traditionally held. This year, the holiday went beyond one day: in the regions of Russia, an entire week was devoted to environmental initiatives. From April 8 to 17, environmental awareness events are held: lessons and lectures, master classes, as well as meetings with environmental leaders.
Tatarstan does not limit itself to one week of environmental knowledge. Since April 1, together with the sanitary and ecological two-month period, "Eco-spring" has been going on in the republic. This year's competition takes place in the form of an 8-week environmental quest. The first week of "Help the Birds" was dedicated to feathered friends – bird friends. In the first week of the competition alone, almost 800 participants joined the eco-project. On April 8, the second week started, which is dedicated to separate waste collection. Everyone can give glass a second life, send paper for recycling or properly sort the plastic.
