The violator will pay more than 3 million rubles for the damage caused to the environment
In May 2023, the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology received a message through the "Unified Dispatch Service on Duty" about the breakthrough of a tank with petroleum products in the area of the Nizhnekamsk industrial zone. Inspectors and specialists of the laboratory of the Zakamsky department carried out a visit.
During the survey of the territory, it was established that a spill of petroleum products occurred on the site of the industrial zone as a result of a breakthrough of a heavy truck tank. The area of the contaminated site was 444 sq.m. Soil sampling was carried out by ecologists. According to the protocol of the analysis results, an excess of the content of petroleum products relative to the background concentration in the soil was revealed by 120.4 times. Environmentalists calculated and presented damage to the environment in the amount of 3 million 376 thousand rubles. On March 19 of this year, the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan satisfied the claim in favor of the Ministry of Ecology. To the violator (IE R.A. Mannanov) will have to pay the damage in full.
