A sanitary and ecological two-month period has started in Tatarstan today
Today, on April 1, the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period has been given. Its main goal is the elimination of landfills and landscaping after winter. The relevance and necessity of this work is annually confirmed by statistics. So, in 2023, within the framework of a two-month period, all supervisory agencies revealed more than 8 thousand violations. 69% of all violations or 5.5 thousand are waste. By the end of the two-month period, 5,000 landfills or 89% had been removed. By the end of April and May 2023, fines and claims totaling 70.2 million rubles were filed.
More than 520 thousand cubic meters of waste were exported to landfills, 18 thousand pieces of equipment were involved, almost 650 thousand trees and shrubs were planted. 688 thousand residents of our republic took a direct part in all these works.
The environmental public reception received 4,900 questions within the framework of the 2023 two-month period. All of them have been resolved.
