Unauthorized landfills, including snow dumps, have become the most pressing issue of concern to the population. 56 messages have been received on this topic. For example, last week inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology went to the complaint about the illegal dumping of snow in the village Yash Kech of the Vysokogorsky district of the republic. The fact of unauthorized storage of snow was confirmed, the inspectors redirected the appeal to the Executive Committee of the Suburban rural settlement of the Vysokogorsky district to take measures to eliminate the landfill.
Also last week, 46 complaints were received about the quality of atmospheric air and 19 complaints about water quality.
In total, 785 applications have been received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception since the beginning of the year. 87 of them were sent via the School Eco-patrol mobile application, 178 messages came through the People's Control system, 51 were registered on the POS feedback platform and 469 notifications were received through the Ministry's communication channels.
