During the monitoring of the Arsky district, inspectors of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan discovered a spill of liquid municipal waste from a cesspool on Vagizov Street in Arsk. Soil samples were taken by specialists. According to the results of the analysis, excess amounts of ammonium ion, sulfate ion and petroleum products were revealed. Environmentalists have calculated the damage caused to the environment. Its size was 39,712 rubles. The violator reimbursed the damage on a voluntary basis. However, when re-examining the site, the inspectors of the Northern TA again found a sewage spill from the cesspool. Soil samples were taken and excess amounts of ammonium ion, chloride ion, sulfate ion and petroleum products were detected. The inspectors calculated the damage caused to the environment. It amounted to 19,452 rubles. The culprit again reimbursed the damage on a voluntary basis.
