The students of Nurlat school No. 2 made a beautiful and healthy treat with their own hands. An exciting eco-lesson was held in the central library. Ecologists of the Southeastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry told the children what can and cannot be fed to birds in winter and held a master class on making eco-feeders. "A figurine of any shape was cut out of thick cardboard using a stencil. The cardboard blanks of the eco-feeder were smeared with paste – this is an adhesive based on starch or flour, the guys glued various grains and cereals with it. With the help of multicolored cereals, a pattern was laid out and thus gave the feeder originality. The only thing that remains to do is attach the string for the suspension and the delicious craft is ready! The master class on bird feeders is especially relevant in winter. An eco-friendly feeder can not only serve as a treat for birds, but also decorate the trees in front of the house," said Venera Mingaleeva, a specialist in Southeastern Tourism.
In conclusion, the ecologist presented the school library with a book from the Ministry of Ecology "Biology of the Soul".
