The Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic was told about significant projects of the Ministry of Ecology

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was visited by the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazan, Eric Beishembiev. Welcoming the guest, Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov spoke about the work of the department – this is work within the framework of the national project "Ecology", eco-monitoring, subsoil use, state environmental supervision, digital transformation of the field of ecology and nature management, environmental education. In addition, the Consul General was presented with pilot projects of the Ministry of Ecology, including the creation of the Center for the Conservation of Biological Diversity "Snow Leopard", which will be a continuation of the project on the study of rare species of cats "Ak Bars". The project, with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, was included in the federal program "Conservation of biological diversity and development of ecological tourism" of the national project "Ecology".

The guest was also presented with the Tatarstan project on the reintroduction of the saker falcon. Let us recall that the pilot work of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan on the revival of the Saker falcon population, implemented on a grant from the SIBUR competition "Formula of Good Deeds", was carried out with the scientific support of the scientific community and with the involvement of volunteers. The implementation of the project made it possible to increase the population of rare species of falcons, gain experience for subsequent similar projects, and also provided prerequisites for the revival of the Volga-Kama Saker falcon population. The Ministry's project became the winner of the V All-Russian competition of the best environmental practices "Reliable partner - Ecology" in the nomination "The best project in the field of conservation of biological diversity" and entered the top three projects of the national award in the field of geography, ecology, conservation and popularization of natural and historical and cultural heritage "Crystal Compass".
