The first steps of the young researchers were evaluated by specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan
A zonal ecological scientific and practical conference "The first steps of young researchers" was held in the Buinsk kindergarten "ABVGDEIKa". The participants were children from Tetyushsky, Apastovsky, Aktanyshsky and Buinsky districts. 15 kids presented their works on such topics as: "Experimental research activities" and "Ecology and local history". The inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan acted as members of the jury, among others. This year, the guys sent a lot of practical projects to the conference. So, some watched the tap and spring water for two weeks and noted that sediment had fallen out in the tap water and the container where the water was settled was covered with plaque. Other guys studied soap and found out what its properties help in the fight against germs.
"I would like to note that every year the research activities of the students are expanding and becoming diverse. The children study vegetable growing, the nature of their native land, and the natural heritage sites of our zone. Interesting project topics were presented about environmental pollution and how it affects human health," said Leysan Gimatdinova, a specialist at the Zavolzhsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Following the results of the conference, the jury members determined the winners in each nomination and awarded diplomas and memorable gifts from the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan.
