30 works and 9 winners. Today, the Ministry of Ecology awarded young scientists participating in the competition of scientific and practical works. Students of higher educational institutions of the republic presented their works in three categories:
- rational use of natural resources;
- development of environmental technologies;
- digital solutions and import substitution in the field of ecology and environmental management
Based on the results of the in-person defense, the competition commission determined the names of the winners. Tatarstan Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov awarded them today.
"If a student surpasses his teacher, this is the best achievement. The future is yours, and our task is to help you become professionals, to light a spark in each of you. Today you have such an opportunity to show your talents in order to further ignite others with the idea that you came here with. It all depends on you. No need to worry if you failed, the most important thing is to go ahead!", - said the Minister of Ecology.
Let us recall that the competition of scientific and practical works on ecology has been held for 4 years now. Students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan take part in it. The main goal of the competition is to involve young people in solving environmental problems. This year, the guys sent, for example, their scientific research on the topic of screening and selecting the optimal environment for building bio-surfactants from organic waste. Biosurfactants are an alternative to synthetic surfactants. Another interesting work was devoted to the influence of the temperature regime on the efficiency of carbon dioxide capture from atmospheric air and its fixation in the biomass of seed peas. These works received the first places in their nominations.

Among those who were awarded today were students, teachers and the staff of the Kazan Petrochemical College named after V. P. Lushnikov. Students were presented with letters of thanks from the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society for the second place in the high-tech championship in the competence "Organization and management of ESG projects". The championship was held within the framework of the All-Russian Championship movement in Professional skills.
