Environmentalists took part in complex exercises to confirm the readiness of enterprises for actions to localize and eliminate oil
Comprehensive exercises to confirm readiness for actions to localize and eliminate oil and petroleum products were held in Aznakaevsky, Buinsky districts and in Kazan. The events were held under the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology assessed the readiness of the Kazan CHP-2 for actions to localize and eliminate the spill of petroleum products, employees of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration observed the conduct of a comprehensive exercise on the Kholmogory-Klin oil trunk pipeline. Here, the oil spill was eliminated by the forces and means of the Kazan Regional Oil Pipeline Department of Transneft Kama Region JSC. And in the Aznakaevsky district, comprehensive exercises on localization and elimination of the maximum estimated volume of oil and petroleum products spills were held at the "Oil Pretreatment Site" facility. All the exercises were successful, the commission rated "satisfactory".
