25 springs of Tatarstan were restored by participants of the contest "Springs of Russia"
The non-profit organization "Patriots of the Motherland" sums up the results of the contest "Springs of Russia", which was held from June 20 to September 21, 2023. In 3 months, volunteers, activists, caring residents have restored 25 springs of Tatarstan. The first place was taken by the team "Revival" of the city of Leninogorsk. They restored the Nostalgia spring. The silver was taken by the Menzelinsky team of schoolchildren "Eco-time". They have been taking part in various environmental campaigns for seven years. Now, thanks to the students of the fifth, sixth and eighth grades, there is a beautiful spring "Kuchkanka" in Menzelinsk. The third place was taken by the pupils of the Yana-Bulyak school of the Tukayevsky district.
According to the organizers, the competition showed a high interest of the population and next year the ANCO "Patriots of the Motherland" are planning to hold an All-Russian team competition for the search, improvement and preservation of natural drinking water springs located on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia.
The competition is scheduled to be held in the period from February to October 2024.
