In three districts of Tatarstan, 100% environmental protection measures have been implemented, which are implemented at the expense of revenues to the local budget from environmental payments
The Ministry of Ecology summed up the preliminary results for 9 months of this year on the implementation of environmental protection measures with funds received from environmental payments. According to the results of 9 months of 2023, 100% of the planned works have already been implemented in Arsky, Spassky and Kukmor districts. In the Chistopol, Buinsky, Vysokogorsky, Pestrechinsky, Yutazinsky and Tetyushsky districts, the work was completed by more than 75%.
There are areas where the largest financial resources are provided for the implementation of environmental measures, but the development is less than 30% - these are Nizhnekamsk, Tukayevsky, Sarmanovsky, Verkhneuslonsky districts.
Also, in 12 districts, environmental measures have zero implementation. Let us recall, according to the decision of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, annually, since 2012, in the Republic of Tatarstan, local budget funds in the amount of income from environmental payments (for payment for negative environmental impact, from the tax on the extraction of common minerals, from recovered funds for violations of environmental legislation requirements) are directed to the implementation of environmental protection measures.
The executive committees of the districts coordinate activities with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and conclude corresponding agreements.
Thus, since 2012, more than 1,700 events have been implemented for a total amount of 2.5 billion rubles.
This year, 215 environmental measures are planned for a total of 308.3 million rubles, of which:
90.8 million rubles - for the elimination of unauthorized landfills, the arrangement of waste collection sites;
61.8 million rubles - for landscaping and planting of the territories of settlements;
57.2 million rubles - for the construction and repair of sewage treatment plants for domestic wastewater;
41 million rubles - for the development of design and estimate documentation for environmental protection measures;
26.8 million rubles - for the reclamation of quarries;
24.3 million rubles - for shore protection and channel dredging, cleaning of springs, reservoirs and river banks;
6.4 million rubles - for pre-declaration inspection of the GTS, improvement of the condition of water bodies, development of projects to reduce the sanitary protection zone of anthrax cattle burial grounds, environmental education.
