Ecological specialists inspected “Urussinsky Chemical Plant”

Fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with workers of the Tatar interdistrict nature protection public prosecution office inspected the Yutazinsky Municipal District. As a reminder, in April 2013 a lot of complaints of the citizens of Urussu village were submitted to the Priikskoe Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with regard to air pollution. In order to detect the source of emissions, experts of the Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control of Priikskoe Territorial Department under the Ministry arranged air sampling on the territory of Urussu village. The results of quantitative and chemical analysis of air showed threefold exceedance of normal threshold allowable concentration with regard to phenol content. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan along with the Tatar interdistrict nature protection public prosecution office carried out supervisory activities, in the course of which it was stated that oil slurries placed on the territory of former washing and steaming station in Urussu village that belongs partially to “RZD” OAO and to “Urussinsky Chemical Plant” ZAO are the assumed source of phenol emissions. The Tatar interdistrict nature protection public prosecution office presented a report on elimination of violations of nature protection legislation by “Urussinsky Chemical Plant” ZAO by reclaiming the land plot and recovering oil slurries before September 1, 2013.

The commission that included Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief State Inspector for Nature Protection Ramil Nizamov, Prosecutor of the Tatar interdistrict nature protection public prosecution office, Senior Counselor of Justice Ilsur Gilmutdinov, Head of Priiksky Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Khalil Mustakimov and Senior Expert of the 2nd rate of Priiksky Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Tagir Nizamov, acknowledged full elimination of violations of nature protection legislation. Disturbedlandswerereclaimed.

The following works were conducted at “Urussinsky Chemical Plant” ZAO: oil slurries were removed from the oil trap of the former intermediate transfer station. Wastes of aquatic emulsified compound of “Promyshlennaya Ecologiya” LLC were purified using in-house two-level purification facilities BLIK-2Fl for the purposes of their further use in technological process.
