“Industrial Ecology and Safety”

The VIII Interregional Research and Scientific Conference “Industrial Ecology and Safety” was held in the framework of Tatar Oil, Gas and Chemical Forum at the exhibition hall “Kazan Fair”.
The conferences “Industrial Ecology and Safety” held during the last years proved their efficiency and showed good results promoting fruitful cooperation of the experts of various industrial and scientific fields in joint activity regarding solving of tasks in the field of assurance of ecological safety and rational management of natural resources.
“Discussion of matters defined by the theme of the conference, acquires special importance during the year announced in the Russian Federation as the Year for Nature Protection, as well as the Year for Environmental Culture and Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan. This event was a great motivation to us regarding popularization of careful attitude to the environment and assurance of ecological safety of the Republic of Tatarstan, — acknowledged in his report Head of the Information Analytics Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladislav Yuranets.
The Republic of Tatarstan has all the necessary conditions for decent holding of the Year of Environmental Culture and Nature Protection on the highest possible level. The program “Nature protection in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk Municipal District for 2012-2015”, adopted by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2012 is in full force and effect. The program for development of water utilization complex of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2012-2020, as well as the program of ecological safety of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2013-2014 have been implemented. The state program “Environment protection, reproduction and use of natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020” is being coordinated right now.
The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most economically and industrially developed regions of Russia. In such a way, the extent of man-induced impact on the territory of the republic is rather high and, in the first place, it is determined by the influence of industrial production.
In such conditions, assurance of ecological safety, sustainable development and high quality of life of the population in the Republic require reduction of the negative impact of all the economic entities and general improvement of the environmental state. We can solve this problem only by balancing real interests of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan with requirements of ecological safety, assurance of comprehensive modernization of production, large-scale implementation of the best innovation nature protection technologies, and, of course, intense public ecological control, — as it is said in the report of the Head of the Information Analytics Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladislav Yuranets.

According to good tradition, the Ministry of Ecology hosted a New Year's tree for the children of the department's employees.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
