According to the information received from the villagers of Kachelino Arsky district about an unpleasant smell from the Kazanka River, inspectors of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan promptly went to the place. During the survey of the territory, the complaint was confirmed, presumably an unpleasant smell could come from the treatment facilities of LLC Vodokanal-Service in Arsk. Environmentalists took samples of natural water at the place of wastewater discharge from the treatment facilities of Vodokanal-Service LLC. Also, samples of natural water were taken downstream. According to the results of the analysis, exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations were revealed. At the first point, in terms of biochemical oxygen consumption by 7.3 times, in terms of ammonium ion by 11.2 times, in terms of nitrites by 7.6 times, in terms of sulfates by 1.7 times, in terms of phosphates by 4.9 times, in terms of total iron by 2.9 times. At the second point, environmentalists recorded an excess of 2.7 times for ammonium ion, 2.3 times for nitrites, and 2.7 times for total iron. Since the BTP LLC Vodokanal-Service is subject to federal environmental supervision, all materials were sent to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor to take response measures.
On September 24, the acceptance of applications for participation in the Olympiad of young ecologists "Clean Heritage" ends. Students of grades 5, 6, 7 and 8 can become participants. - Photo of the certificate from the place of study;
- Consent to participate in the Olympiad;

Let us recall that on September 2, as part of the celebration of the Oilworker's Day, the Olympiad of young environmentalists "Clean Heritage" started in Almetyevsk. The Olympiad is being held for the first time this year. It is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of Tatarstan oil development, the 75th anniversary of the Romashkinskoye field and the Year of the Teacher and Mentor in Russia.
The Olympiad consists of 2 parts: correspondence and full-time stages. The correspondence stage will be held in the participant's personal account from 10:00 on October 1 to 20:00 on October 2, according to the results of this stage, the best participants will go to the full-time stage from October 30 to November 4 in the DOL "Yunost" of the Almetyevsk district.
