Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan paid a working visit to the Nurlat municipal district. The head of the environmental protection Department took part in the opening exercises of the city gymnasium named after Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Egorovich Sergeev. On behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, he congratulated students and teachers on the Day of Knowledge and wished them new successes and victories. The head of the department presented gifts to the children of the participants of the special operation and first-graders as part of the "Help to get ready for school" campaign. "Believe in yourself and boldly go forward! Interesting discoveries, vivid impressions and important achievements are waiting for you! You are the one who holds our future and the future of our country," the Minister said.
As part of the All-Russian educational campaign "Share your Knowledge", the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a lesson for students of the ecological class of the Nurlat gymnasium. He discussed with the 8th grade students the issues of environmental well-being of the republic, current topics on the choice of profession and told about environmental youth movements where children can join. "For each of us, September 1 is a bright and kind holiday, a long–awaited meeting with friends, classmates and teachers. It is symbolic that in the Year of the Teacher and mentor, we share our knowledge and experience with the guys, because very soon they will have to make their first serious choice in life – the choice of a profession. It is important to make it consciously, to think about what is interesting in this life, what fascinates you," the Minister of Ecology stressed.
Let us recall that the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan has been working on environmental education of the population for 30 years, the volunteer movement is developing, contests, campaigns, events are held. Thanks to the active position of Tatarstan citizens, our republic has become the winner of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" for the second year in a row. One of the next clean-up days will be held on September 6 on the Kazanka River and will be timed to coincide with the opening of the Olympiad of Young Environmentalists, which starts on September 2.
