Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology checked complaints about violations during the construction of the Kamsky Trophy hotel complex

The Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan received an appeal from citizens about carrying out earthworks with violations of environmental legislation during the construction of the Kamsky Trophy Group of Companies.  According to residents, the works pose a threat of harm to the life and health of people living in the village. Kamskoye Estuary of the Kamsko-Ustinsky district. Inspectors of the Ministry carried out a visit and conducted a survey of the territory. During the departure, the fact of excavation work was recorded, which led to the collapse of the slope on the land plots. 

In addition, the Ministry, within the framework of the field assignment, revealed a number of violations of environmental legislation that were not reflected in the citizens' appeal, namely: the presence of concrete wells on a land plot located in the coastal protective strip of the Kuibyshev reservoir was established, pipes of various diameters were found underground, drains from which could go into the coastal strip of the Volga River (on the the moment of inspection, the discharge of wastewater was not recorded, however, there is an accumulation of liquid of unknown origin at the outlet of the pipe), the placement of a well and another underground pipe with a discharge outlet in the direction of the Kuibyshev reservoir was also established. 

Considering that the Kuibyshev reservoir is subject to federal state environmental supervision, all materials on this departure and recorded violations were transferred in accordance with the Law on the Delimitation of Powers to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor.

Also, according to this fact, the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office, together with the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Management, previously conducted a survey of the above-mentioned territories.
