The Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office has organized an inspection of compliance with legislation in the field of fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources.
The Prosecutor's office found that two enterprises carried out mining in the water area of the Kuibyshev reservoir without coordination with the federal executive authority in the field of fisheries.
The damage caused to aquatic biological resources amounted to about 400 thousand rubles. In order to eliminate violations of the law, representations have been made to the heads of legal entities.
According to the results of the consideration of the acts of the prosecutor's response, the enterprises compensated the damage caused to aquatic biological resources in full.
