Inspectors found a landfill of hazardous waste in Almetyevsk
During the monitoring of the territory of the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration revealed unauthorized waste disposal. Illegal storage of waste in the form of old wooden sleepers has been revealed on a plot of land next to a railway dead end. The total area of clutter was 565.7 sq.m., the volume of landfill – 1229.2 cubic meters. Ecologists took samples of waste to determine the hazard class. According to the results of the analyses, the 4th hazard class was established (low-hazard waste with a small degree of harmful impact on the environment). A warning was sent to the owner of the land plot about the inadmissibility of violating environmental legislation and eliminating the landfill within 60 days.
