An inspection of illegal construction works in the coastal strip and water protection zone of the Volga River is being carried out
The Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, the Rosreestr Department for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Department of Water Resources for the Republic of Tatarstan of the Lower Volga Basin Water Management of the Federal Agency for Water Resources, organized a check on publications posted on the Internet on illegal construction works in the coastal strip and the water protection zone of the Kuibyshev Reservoir in the immediate vicinity from the Millennium Bridge in Kazan.
The Prosecutor's Office, together with specialists of the authorized bodies, conducted an on-site survey of the territory. Currently, inspections are ongoing.
Based on the results of the inspections, if there are grounds, exhaustive measures of the prosecutor's response will be taken.
