During the year of joint work, the program covered 19 settlements of the republic – these are both large cities and small districts. Residents of the republic and budget organizations collected almost 100 tons of electrical scrap and sent it for processing to a specialized ecological plant in Mordovia. Electric breakage fees in the republic are held regularly. So, in May and June, the gathering took place in Kazan, Buinsk, Pestretsy and Zelenodolsk, in July in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and the Kama Estuary. In July alone, budgetary institutions and organizations handed over more than 13 tons of waste. Residents are also actively joining, for their convenience, special cars come to districts and villages.

The next waste collection will take place from July 20 to July 21. The export will be organized for budget organizations of the village of Vysokaya Gora, Atninsky district, as well as Kazan, Buinsk and Apastovo.

Let us recall that the agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund for Rational Nature Management was signed last year. The main goal of the project is to provide an opportunity for residents to transfer expired equipment to recycling in an environmentally friendly and convenient way, as well as to promote environmental education and enlightenment of the younger generation. At the beginning of this year, the results of this federal environmental program were summed up, where Tatarstan became the winner in the nomination "Best start and coverage of the program "Recycling School: Electronics".
