Take part in the IX All-Russian Conference on Environmental Education
Non-governmental Environmental Foundation named after V. I. Vernadsky on October 25-28 in Moscow holds the IX All-Russian Conference on Environmental Education (with international participation) "Education-2030. To study. Try. Act." The purpose of the conference is to consider ways to update the content, forms, methods of environmental education and enlightenment in the interests of sustainable development of the Russian Federation in accordance with the changes of the rapidly developing world.
Representatives of federal and regional legislative and executive authorities of the Russian Federation are invited to participate; teaching staff of preschool, general, vocational and additional education institutions; employees of cultural institutions; specialists in the field of environmental education, education and enlightenment; students, teachers of universities and vocational education organizations, representatives of industry and academic science, expert community and public environmental organizations.
The following topics are planned to be discussed during the Conference:
– tasks of the Russian system of environmental education and education in accordance with the prospects of socio-economic development of Russia;
– personnel training, professional development of teachers and teachers in the system of preschool, school, secondary vocational and higher education for the implementation of the state environmental agenda of the Russian Federation;
– dissemination of experience in improving the quality of environmental education and education through libraries, museums, theaters, exhibitions, clubs, cinemas, public organizations;
– youth as a key driving force in solving the problems of sustainable development: updating the activities of student scientific communities, environmental volunteering, eco-activism, eco-blogging;
– development of the system of additional environmental education through children's ecological and biological centers, associations of young naturalists, school environmental clubs, etc.;
– interdisciplinary approaches in environmental education.
