Within the framework of the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology" in the Mamadyshsky district, work continues on clearing the bed of the Bersut River near the village of Kamsky lespromkhoz. Ilnur Nasretdinov, Head of the Department of Economics and Project Activities of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Artemyev, Head of the Department of Water Resources for the Republic of Tatarstan of the Lower Volga Department of Rosvodresurs, representatives of the GBU "NPO GEOCENTER of the Republic of Tatarstan", the Executive Committee of the Mamadyshsky district and the contracting organization Tatmeliovodstroy LLC got acquainted with the progress of the work.
At the facility, work has already been carried out on dredging bottom sediments from the bottom of the river in the amount of 61 thousand cubic meters. The overall readiness of the facility is 51%. As a result of clearing the Bersut riverbed with a length of 7 km, the ecological living conditions of 15 thousand people will improve.
The project implementation period is from 2022 to 2023. The cost of the work is 106.5 million rubles. Funding comes from the federal budget.
