1242 cars have been checked by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan since the beginning of operation "Clean Air" this year
Inspectors of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan continue to carry out measures to identify vehicles whose exhaust gases exceed the norms for pollutants. Since June, 1,242 cars have already been checked on the roads of Tatarstan, of which 33 cars turned out to be in excess. Violations were detected in cars with gasoline, diesel and gas engines.
"Clean Air" Operation has been announced in the Republic until the end of September, the inspection of vehicles takes place on the main highways, checkpoints and enterprises. The event is held in order to monitor compliance with the standards for the content of pollutants in the exhaust gases of motor vehicles and to prevent the negative impact of vehicles on the atmospheric air. Last year, environmentalists checked more than 6 thousand cars, 183 violations were detected.
