Environmentalists conducted air sampling based on complaints from residents of Buinsk
The Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received a complaint from residents of the Buinsky district. Local residents complained of an unpleasant smell in Buinsk. To assess the state of the air, ecologists of the Zavolzhsky TA together with a mobile ecological laboratory went to the site. Sampling was carried out in automatic mode using special equipment installed on the PEL. Samples were taken in the daytime at 4 points: Klenovaya St., Gagarin St., Efremov St. and Zhores St.. According to the results of the analysis of samples, no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants were detected. Environmentalists also took samples using a hand-held sampler pump at night. The selection was carried out at 3 points: Studentskaya St., Kosmovsky St. and Stroitelnaya St.. According to the results of the analysis of samples, no exceedances of the MPC of pollutants were also detected.
