Experts of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told Almetyevsk schoolchildren how to control the quality of water and air
Specialists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an excursion for students of Lyceum No. 2 and Gymnasium No. 1 named after R. Fakhretdin, Almetyevsk. Ecologists showed the students the department's laboratory and told them how to determine the toxicity of wastewater in the biotesting sector. Together with the guys, they did a chemical analysis to determine the hardness of water and an analysis of soil samples for the content of chlorides. Specialists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration showed the students the principle of operation of the mobile environmental laboratory, and also told them what pollutants can be identified here.
"Our events are aimed at familiarization with the activities of the Ministry of Ecology, environmental education. We show the guys our work, thereby drawing their attention to environmental problems and the conservation of natural resources," said Gulnara Teregulova, head of the Environmental Supervision Department of the South-Eastern TA of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
