On the Day of the ecologist, an excursion was held at the Ministry of Ecology for activists of the movement "It will be clean" from the Nizhnekamsk district. The specialists showed the students an automatic air pollution control station and told them about the principles of its operation. In total, the Ministry has 17 such stations, 5 of them are located in the capital of Tatarstan.
"Such a network of observations makes it possible to assess the quality of atmospheric air in real time," said Artur Vildanov, head of the environmental laboratory of GBU Geocenter.
Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky and Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan Denis Alexandrov talked with students during the excursion.
"The ecologist profession is a very noble cause. You save and protect nature. I am very glad that you are so purposeful, you really like this activity. I sincerely wish you success and great achievements," the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan Denis Alexandrov greeted the guys.
Alina Kalinkina is one of the participants of the environmental movement. As the girl says, becoming an ecologist is her long–standing dream, and the movement "It Will be clean" helps her to go to this dream and her goal. Today she is also among those who came on the tour. "It was interesting to learn something new and consolidate my knowledge in practice. The tour impressed me. All observations can be followed right here. Thank you for this opportunity, I will definitely come to you more than once," the student shared her impressions.
At the end of the meeting, Yegor Tarnavsky presented the activists with a diploma for winning the Republican educational campaign of the youth environmental movement "It will be clean", and as a souvenir from the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, all participants of the excursion were presented with books for the 30th anniversary of the department.
"Every year the profession of an ecologist becomes more popular and more and more of our like-minded people join environmental movements. I am sincerely glad to congratulate you on this wonderful holiday and wish you success in such an important and necessary task – environmental protection," Deputy Minister Egor Tarnavsky addressed the students.
Let us recall that the youth environmental movement "It Will be clean" was created and is developing with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Now more than 9 thousand students have joined this movement in the republic.
The event was held as part of the All-Russian environmental campaign "Ecosystem: marathon of green affairs".
