Today, at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, the results of the sanitary and environmental two-month period were summed up. From April 1 to May 31, a sanitary and ecological two-month period is traditionally held in the republic. In two months, more than 5 thousand landfills have been identified, almost 90% have already been eliminated. 1,849 violators were brought to administrative responsibility, fines totaling more than 2.5 million rubles were imposed. This was announced today by the First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilnur Gubaidullin to journalists.
"About 700 thousand people took part in the cleaning of the territory. More than 18 thousand pieces of equipment were involved. There was also active work on the landscaping of the republic. Municipalities have planted more than 650 thousand trees and shrubs," said Ilnur Gubaidullin, Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection
Various patrol methods were used for more detailed control. For example, together with GBU "Road Safety", roadside lanes of public roads were examined. 69 violations were detected. As part of the monitoring of the territory, air raids also took place. 104 violations were recorded. 102 violations were identified jointly with JSC "Russian Railways". During the two-month period, 300 thousand square meters of railway right-of-way lanes were cleared.
One of the clearest examples of detecting violations during the two-month period is the filling of the ravine on Gudovantseva St. in the SNT "Zaovrazhye" with construction waste. According to the warnings issued, measures to eliminate the violator have not been taken. The Ministry has prepared a statement of claim against the owners of land plots. The damage is calculated. Another major violation is the contamination of land in the village of Aki on a total area of more than 260 sq.m. with waste from contaminated soil.
In two months, about 5 thousand requests were received through all communication channels. Most of the complaints are landfills. 262 notifications were received through the People's Control, and not all of them were promptly resolved. For example, a landfill has not been liquidated on the territory of the Leninogorsk district for more than a year. In general, the two-month period passed with good indicators, the best districts were awarded within the framework of the Eco-spring 2023 competition.
