Environmentalists took air samples at the site of the fire at the landfill in Almetyevsk district

A large fire occurred today at the solid waste storage landfill in the Almetyevsk district. Inspectors and employees of the laboratory of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan promptly went to the scene to assess the air condition. Using a mobile environmental laboratory, specialists conducted atmospheric air sampling. According to the results of the analysis of samples, no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of harmful substances were detected. Currently, according to the inspectors, the open fire has been eliminated.
