On this day we honor people who have devoted themselves to the hard work of studying and developing the Arctic and Antarctic: pilots and sailors, geologists and scientists, meteorologists and builders, representatives of many other professions.
Your job is hard work in extreme conditions, requiring patience, speed, accuracy, deep scientific knowledge, because only courageous and persistent people submit to the harsh northern expanses. Continuing the wonderful traditions of generations of predecessors,
you are still developing a promising region today, making a personal contribution
in creating a powerful potential of the Arctic zone of the country.
