In Nizhnekamsk, the fir alley of the merchants of the Staheevs is being revived
50 fir trees were planted by participants of the environmental campaign in the forest area near the village of Krasny Klyuch. They replaced the dead fir trees that once grew in this forest. In Nizhnekamsk forestry, the only fir tree remained from the historical alley, and the planting of young seedlings began from it. Environmentalists of the Zakamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan also joined the campaign. Trees were planted along the walking path from Nizhnekamsk to the "Krasny Klyuch". The firs were brought from the Kirov region, the Nizhnekamsk forestry will take care of them.
"Fir alley of merchants Staheev" is the main idea of the project "Keepers of the Forest" of the autonomous non-profit organization in the field of environmental protection "Eco-World". Its goal is the restoration of a cultural heritage site on the territory of the village of Krasny Klyuch, Nizhnekamsk district. This historical and ecological project became the winner of the grant competition of local initiatives of the SIBUR social investment program "Formula of Good Deeds".
