According to residents' complaints, environmentalists took water samples in the Kazanka River
According to the received information about sewage discharge into the Kazanka River near the Atlantis Deluxe residential complex in Kazan, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration and specialists of the laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out a field visit. Samples of natural water were taken. According to the results of the analysis of the samples, the excess in sulfates was 1.2 times, iron 1.8 times and manganese 6.8 times. Let us recall that earlier the Ministry has already received similar appeals. The inspectors sent a request to the External Improvement Committee of the Executive Committee of Kazan. According to the information received, it was established that there is a drainage channel and a drainage pumping station of a municipal enterprise on this site. This facility is subject to federal state environmental supervision, in connection with which all materials were transferred to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor for action.
